The target group of EduArmenia’s expert school are the students. The goal of this program is to contribute to the development of a holistic and modern worldview of Armenian students through informal education, various educational groups and interesting clubs and activities. Within the framework of the program, American-Armenian writer and teacher Marineh Khachadour launched the ‘Art of Books Club’, where students learned to write different texts and then transformed them into literary texts.
In the ‘Literary Club’ group, students discussed the characters of Armenian epic heroes with the literary critic Artush Mkrtumyan, analyzing their personal traits and how these are reflected in Armenian society.
In the ‘Naturalist Club’ group, students explored the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the ways to implement them in Armenia with Sirine Kosyan, a member of the Association for Sustainable Human Development.
The ‘Critical Thinking’ group and the ‘Students for Students’ program are being launched in the near future, within the framework of which Armenian students in the US teach English to Armenian students in Armenia, and the latter teach Armenian to Armenian-American students. The aim is to develop language and communication skills between both groups.
